the season with this phone. This year, unlike the previous years; We met two Galaxy Note phones instead of one. Samsung has applied the strategy of devices with different screen sizes, which it previously applied in the Galaxy S series, to the Galaxy Note 10 series this year . Thus, we met two Android phones, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus. In this article, we will give you a quick review regarding the Galaxy Note 10 Plus.

Design & Display.

When we look at the Galaxy S and Note phones, we see that both flagship phone series have a design language. While the Galaxy S10 series, which came out earlier this year, has more rounded and softer lines, the Note 10 series stands out with its slightly sharper corners. Do not look at what we call sharp, Note 10 Plus's corners and edges are also curved. However, it should be noted that it looks more serious than the Galaxy S10 Plus and others. In this respect, we can say that it is similar to last year's Note 9 and the phones of previous years.

The curved long edges of the screens have become a hallmark of Samsung's high-end phones. The back panel also adapts to this curved structure of the front. As a result, we see a symmetrical phone. The front and back of the phone are covered with sturdy Gorilla Glass 6 glass. A screen protective film was placed on the front of the Note 10 Plus by Samsung from the very beginning. Let's say this movie will draw very quickly and you will have to change it after a certain time. When we look at the back, let's say that it remained intact during the two weeks we used it, and we did not encounter any noticeable scratches. Meanwhile, the back surface performs very poorly in terms of fingerprint and dirt retention. It will be useful to occasionally clean the phone with a soft cloth.

Glass on the front and rear meets the metal frame at the edges. The metal frame seems highly resistant to scratches and abrasions. Still, it looks a notch-less glamorous than phones at the same price level, like the iPhone XS or XS Max. When Samsung increased the curvature on the long sides, the metal strip on the long sides became quite thin. That's why it looks slimmer when it's a phone.

The right edge of the Note 10 Plus is left blank. The power button, which we used to see on the right edge on Samsung phones for a long time, has been removed. On the left edge, we see the volume keys from top to bottom and the new side key. This side button is a combination of the Bixby button and the power button we saw before. You can assign different functions for actions such as double-pressing, single pressing, or holding and holding.

If you are the one using the phone in your left hand, the layout of the side keys will not be too difficult for you. With the right hand, you only have to take some trouble to access the volume up key. In some places, we have come across comments that the Note 10 Plus is a suitable phone for left-handers. However, considering that the S Pen is held with the right hand and the phone with the left hand, the Note 10 Plus is also a useful phone for right-handers.

The bottom edge of the Note 10 Plus has a microphone, speaker, S Pen slot and USB-C port. Samsung also removed the 3.5mm headphone jack from its flagship phone after long resisting. When we look at the top edge, we see the second microphone and speaker, as well as the nanoSIM and microSD card tray.

When we look at the back, we see that Samsung has made a change in the camera placement that has been applied to high-end phones so far. The cameras are lined up in the upper left corner, in the vertical axis, just like the Huawei P30 Pro or iPhone XS Max. Three cameras are placed on the protruding module. Right next to this module is the depth sensor and LED flash.

Galaxy Note 9 was also a big phone, but we got used to holding it and using it. In this respect, we did not find the Note 10 Plus too odd. The friction of the glass surface of the phone prevents it from slipping out of hand. Its slim profile is also considered an important plus in ergonomics. The weight of the phone is just under 200 grams. It does not create a feeling of fatigue even in long-term use. Of course, our larger hands also have an effect, but it is not a problem for us to use a very large screen phone like the Galaxy Note 10 Plus with one hand, two hands, or carry it in the pocket.

By the way, let's point out that the body of the Galaxy Note 10 + is water and dust resistant. This situation is documented by the IP68 certificate.

As far as display is concerned, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus comes with a 6.8 Dynamic AMOLED corner-to-corner screen takes up almost all of the space. While there is an edge-to-edge layout from left to right due to the curved screen, the bezel at the top and bottom of the screen has become quite thin. So much so that Samsung fits a phone with a smaller surface area than the Galaxy Note 9 , a larger screen than that of that phone. It occupies 91.1% of the front of the device. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus has a 1440 x 3040 resolution with 498 PPi.  The frame area is also kept very thin on the lower and upper edges. The selfie camera is placed in a hole at the top of the screen.

Samsung has kept this hole as small as possible. Thus, a view quite close to full-screen view is obtained. When playing games or watching videos in full screen, this hole is far less noticeable than the hole for the two cameras in the upper right corner of the Galaxy S10 +. Since your attention is generally focused on the center of the screen, you will not notice this small hole on the edge. Apart from that, you can minimize the visibility of this hole in normal use by choosing wallpapers that are specially prepared for the camera hole and look very fun. In the meantime, next to the camera hole, the environmental light sensor is also barely visible under the screen.

The screen has Dynamic AMOLED technology, as well as HDR10 + support. Samsung's displays perform quite well. This tradition is not broken for the Note 10 + screen either. The color range of the screen is wide, the images are very vivid. The brightness is also at a high level, this increases the visual experience while watching movies or videos, and allows you to use the phone comfortably under bright sunlight. The presence of HDR10 + support will not make a noticeable difference to the visual experience. However, you can watch YouTube videos with HDR support on the big screen of this phone with all their impressions. If your Netflix account is also available, you can enjoy watching HDR supported movies and TV series on the Note 10 Plus.

The screen resolution is higher than the Note 10's screen. However, Samsung has set the resolution of the screen to Full HD + by default. If you don't go into the display settings and check the resolution, you won't notice Samsung has made such an adjustment. If you are not worried about battery drain, you can set the screen resolution to the highest level.

Apart from that, the curved screen does not bring a big plus apart from adding visual elegance. There's the Edge apps drawer on the edge, but we have to admit that we forgot it was there and our finger is hardly gone at all. The curvature angle is not high, the rate of accidental touches and unwanted commands is also very low.

Looking at the audio side, Galaxy Note 10+ also has two speakers. The lower edge speaker is accompanied by a second speaker at the upper edge with a slightly smaller grille. Note 10 Plus seems to be successful in giving the stereo sound effect, although we feel like it is in favor of the lower speaker, even if the volume is light. The environmental impact and fullness of the sound are fine. Bass and highs are balanced. You can watch movies without the need for any headphones or external speakers. Dolby Atmos support can also be used on speakers and gives good results, increasing the sound experience. The AKG headphones with USB-C terminals out of the box are also very high quality. Be careful not to take this headset with you as there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. Or invest a little more and get a Bluetooth headset.

The speakerphone seems to have been removed due to the screen taking up too much space in front of the Galaxy Note 10 Plus. In this case, you may think that this phone uses the vibration transmission method as in the Huawei P30 Pro. But if you look carefully, you'll see a thin and long gap at the top of the screen between the metal frame and the glass. This is where the handset acts as a speaker.

S Pen gains new capabilities with every Galaxy Note model. Last year, it was possible to take pictures using the S Pen as a remote control, change pages in presentations or navigate photos in the gallery. Now, thanks to hardware features such as gyroscope added to the S Pen, remote control capabilities are increasing.

You can perform various activities by pressing the pen button or holding the button and shaking the S Pen like a wand. Samsung calls these Contactless transactions. These contactless processes are currently used mostly within the Camera application. You can switch between the front and rear cameras, zoom in or switch shooting modes by shaking the S Pen. Contactless operations will be very useful, especially if you place the Note 10 Plus on a tripod and take pictures or take selfies. However, you have to go through a certain learning and familiarization process until you can do these things.

Contactless transactions can also be used in the YouTube application. You can perform operations such as turning the sound on or off, switching between videos. If the Galaxy Note 10 Plus is standing on the table and is more than an arm's length from you, the S Pen will be useful. Samsung has opened up the use of this functionality to application developers. In the near future, we may see contactless transactions being used in more applications. However, Samsung needs to make these movements process faster and continue the regulations for this.

There are also noteworthy innovations about the S Pen in the Notes application. At the beginning of these, there is a translation from handwriting to plain text. In this way, you can transfer the notes you create with your handwriting to formats such as Microsoft Word more easily. If you keep your meeting notes on the Note 10 Plus, it will be quite easy to e-mail them later. Of course, when writing, make sure to write letters as completely and clearly as possible. Otherwise, some letters may be misrecognized and meaningless spaces may appear in the translated text.

Even if you do not translate handwriting into prose, when you search for any word in your notes, the notes containing that word will appear instantly. This function also works well. We see that even complicated-looking handwriting is recognized properly. In the meantime, let's say that the Screen off note feature, which allows you to start taking notes immediately when you remove the S Pen while the screen is off, still exists. In this way, you can see the notes you have taken in the Notes application.

A new S Pen feature coming to Galaxy Note 10 Plus is AR Scribble. In addition to the S Pen, this feature also benefits from the Time-of-Flight camera located on the back of the Note 10+. You can access the AR Scribble screen from the Contactless Command screen you see when you remove the S Pen, or directly from the scratch icon in the Camera app. You can make various doodles on a person's face or the environment you are in. Although AR Scribble may seem quite entertaining, it will really pay off in the hands of people who have good drawing skills and a strong imagination. It may remain a feature that exists for most users but is never remembered.

The S Pen has a battery inside and it charges when you put the pen in its holder. You can see the charge level of the S Pen from the Contactless Command screen.

 Operating System and Process.

The phone offers extremely fast and powerful processors.  The Note 10 Plus offers a good processor for daily use. The Note 10 Plus comes with two different choices: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855(USA) and Exynos 9825( Global).

Regarding the GPU, the Samsung Galaxy has the Mali-G76 MP12 ( Global) and Adreno 640 ( USA)

In Geekbench 5, the CPU scored 695 for single-core and 2530 for multicores.
According to the operating system, Galaxy Note 10 Plus comes with Android 9 Pie installed. On top of that, the One UI user interface comes loaded. Early this year, One UI has become one of our favorite Android user interfaces with its finger-friendly controls and stylish looking icons. It is also easier to control the large screen of the Galaxy Note 10 Plus thanks to the One UI. In addition, the rich controls offered in Quick Settings allow you to manage many features of the phone from one place. Taking scrolling screenshots of websites and a built-in screen recording tool are among the benefits of this user interface.

Samsung further improves the desktop experience, called DeX, with each Note version. With the launch of the Note 10 series, DeX has ceased to be a hardware-dependent feature. With the help of DeX software that you will install on a PC or Mac computer, you can bring your smartphone's user interface to the computer screen by simply connecting the Note 10 Plus to the computer with the cable out of the box. And not in a small window, but in a full-screen desktop view. DeX works so efficiently that it allows you to use the Note 10 Plus's user interface fluently, even on an outdated PC. Thanks to DeX, you can revive your discarded laptop and include it in your workflow. It is stated that drag-and-drop file transfer can also be made between DeX and computers and phones.

Another computer-connected feature that comes with the Note 10 Plus is the built-in support for the Your Phone app. This way, you can receive messages, photos or other notifications on your Windows PC. Through this support, Samsung aims to build a bridge similar to that between Apple 's iPhones and MacBook computers. To benefit from this support, you must first download and install the Your Phone application from the Windows Store on your computer.

Another reflection of the collaboration between Samsung and Microsoft is the pre-installed applications. For years Galaxy phones have had the Microsoft folder. Tradition does not break on the Note 10 Plus either. Office Mobile, OneDrive, and LinkedIn applications are installed in this folder. It also comes with the Outlook Mobile application installed on the phone. Thus, Note 10 Plus comes loaded with a total of three e-mail applications.

Apart from Microsoft applications, Note 10 Plus is rich in installed applications. In addition to Google applications, Samsung's applications such as My Files, Internet, Samsung Health, Smart Switch, Smart Things, Voice Recorder, Samsung Members, Samsung Notes, Galaxy Deals are also installed. You can download more apps from either the Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store.

One of the interesting applications in Note 10 Plus is the application named Samsung Global Goals, which is presented by the cooperation of Samsung and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and enables the United Nations to recognize the work and goals set for a more livable world. Moreover, it offers the opportunity to donate directly to UNDP. You can donate from your own pocket, as well as earn money by displaying ads on the lock screen while using Galaxy Note 10 Plus, and transfer the revenue you earn to one of the programs offered within the Global Goals app. One of the good things is that it works well while your phone is charging or idle. We recommend that you examine this application in detail.

One of the areas where the Time-of-Flight camera on the back of the Galaxy Note 10 Plus works is to offer more comprehensive support for Augmented Reality applications. Samsung offers an application called Quick Measure on the phone. Using this application, you can measure things or certain parts of your home

 Security and Ports.

On the security side, we see a fingerprint reader placed on the screen. The location of the sensor is positioned slightly higher than that of the S10 series devices. While holding the phone naturally, your thumbs will comfortably touch this sensor. We have previously experienced Galaxy S10E, the Galaxy S10 +, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A80 According to the Samsung Galaxy Android phones, such as a fingerprint sensor is faster and works inaccurate manner. Still, face recognition is also available for those who find the fingerprint reader inconvenient and who don't get along well with it. The phone also supports the classical unlocking methods such as pattern and passcode.

As of ports, the device supports Bluetooth 5 and NFC. It supports VoLTE and WiFi Calling. It also has no support for a 3.5mm headphone jack as we mentioned above.

 Battery and charging.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus provides a powerful Li-Po 4300mAh battery. And the phone offers fast charging.

Despite its high-power processor and the screen resolution set to the highest level, the Note 10+ easily takes out a day from morning to night in normal intensity use. In most cases, it is possible to use the phone without charging until the middle of the second day.

You can quickly charge this phone with the 25W fast charging adapter that comes out of the Note 10 Plus box. While an occupancy exceeding 60 percent is reached in half an hour, it takes about 80-85 minutes to reach full occupancy. This makes it unnecessary to charge the Note 10 + next to you while sleeping at night. In the meantime, even faster charging is offered with a 45W charging adapter. Of course, you will have to invest separately for this.

Wireless charging support is also available. Moreover, there is faster charging at 15W, but you will need a compatible charging mat for this. Thanks to the reverse wireless charging support, you can use the Note 10 Plus as a power bank device. If you carry another phone that supports wireless charging, or if you buy a Samsung smartwatch with wireless charging or Galaxy Buds headphones with the Galaxy Note 10+, this feature will be very useful for you.

Samsung Phone has a- quad-camera on the rear as clarified: 12Mp ( wide with f\1.5),16MP( ultrawide with f\2.2, 12MP( telephoto with f\2.4). Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus has a 10MP wide front-facing camera with f\2.2 with an IR sensor.  The cameras come with LED flash, AI support, and HDR. HDR technology will help you when there's sunlight behind you. HDR will edit the photo and balance the brightness.

While its competitors are racing for pixels, climbing to 64 Mpx, the world number one retains its main sensor with 12 "small" megapixels. The opportunity to show us all his expertise. Because, as much to say it immediately, the results of this module are very satisfactory.

By day, the pictures are very well made. They are full of details and appear to be clear and correctly displayed. We may note colors that are a little too flashy and slightly exaggerated contrasts. This immediately gives a more flattering but perhaps less realistic rendering.

At night, the results of the main module are just as relevant. Samsung chose a rather long exposure time (1/6 s) compensated by a perfectly controlled sensitivity. Even in the face of a brightness of 3 lux, the Note 10+ does not go higher than ISO 400. This combination offers a clear and rather detailed shot, despite the appearance of a little software smoothing. If we are not at the level of a Pixel 3 , Samsung seems to have made some adjustments since the Galaxy S10 presented at the beginning of the year.

Progress that is also felt in the night mode of the Note 10+. This mode turns out to be quite interesting, increasing the pause time to further reduce sensitivity. In the process, Samsung heavily accentuates the contrasts in order to give relief to the image, which still loses in realism. The rendering is therefore as clear as it is exaggerated.

Interestingly, though, while the photo app rebalances white balance in standard mode, it delivers more natural tones in night mode. On its Pixel 3, Google had done exactly the opposite.
The very wide angle turns out to be quite good during the day. The center of the shots is even more natural than on the main module. But as often, the details disappear on the periphery. Fortunately, the deformation inherent in this type of opening is here rather under control.

At night, the rendering of the photos is passable. The cliché is embedded in software processing that masks the electronic noise. The whole becomes almost illegible despite a rather correct exposure.
If Samsung is not participating in the pixel race, it is not participating in the zoom race either. We must therefore be satisfied here with a 2x zoom. Luckily, it turns out to be very good, at least by day. In these bright conditions, he thus offers detailed shots, with realistic colors and slightly more natural contrasts. The outskirts are also quite clean.

At night, things are more complicated. Like many of its competitors, the Note 10+ abandons its dedicated module and switches to the main module when the light runs out. It will therefore be necessary to do with a cliché cleaned with blows of software smoothing of the coarsest, for a result not very exploitable.

It is necessary to activate the night mode to force this third module to take night photos. And we must admit that it is quite convincing. He manages to take shots that are ultimately very close to those of the main module. We, therefore, find a clear scene, and still exaggerated contrasts for an unrealistic rendering, but this time using.

At the front, it is a 10 Mpx sensor accompanied by a lens opening in f / 2.2 for an equivalent focal length of 26 mm which acts as a front module. This equipment takes pictures of good quality with the possibility of adjusting or canceling the image processing. The development is perfectly managed while the backlighting is rather controlled.

For its part, the portrait mode of the backend module is quite successful. Efficient and fast, it offers a whole lot of effects and allows you to accentuate or reduce the bokeh in post-production directly from the photo application. A rather nice feature. The cutting of the bokeh is also faithful on most hair. But he is sometimes trapped by an element of decoration too close to the face. The portrait mode is good, but all the same less convincing on the front module, with an even more random breakdown.

Finally, as on the Galaxy S10, the Note 10+ offers different ways to film. There are therefore modes "Slow motion", "Super slow motion", a "Hyperlapse" and the possibility of making videos by taking advantage of the portrait mode. So many fun and perfectly mastered modes. Even by chaining the shots, the photo application remains very stable and does not flinch. It is also possible to shoot in 4K and, once again, the smartphone handles this pressure perfectly.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus Phone: prices, specifications, and release.

With a price of 650USD, Galaxy Note 10 Plus is the model that sits at the top of Samsung's Galaxy product line.  The phone is focused on productive and creative people. The S10 series, on the other hand, targets the audience that focuses on content consumption and targets the flagship phone.

When we compare it with the other price, we see that the price of Note 10 Plus remains quite high. However, taxes and fees collected from smartphones in our country make this a little obligatory. In terms of design and material quality, we can say that the Note 10 Plus gives the feeling that it is a valuable phone. The same goes for the S Pen. The big screen doesn't just offer enough space to take notes or draw. With its quality and liveliness, it provides great pleasure not only while producing but also while having fun or consuming content.

On the battery side, the Note 10 Plus is satisfactory. Even if you use it intensively, you can easily enjoy a day from morning to evening. The fast charging support is excellent, so you can charge it at short intervals and use the Note 10 Plus for days without shutting down. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are also nice to have, although you may not use them often.

With the S Pen, the Note 10 Plus gives the feeling of using a real notebook, while increasing productivity when working with features such as translating to text or searching in handwritten notes. AR Scribble is a nice looking feature, but we don't think you will use it much. On the software side, One UI increases the usefulness of this phone. The number of apps that come installed is a bit large, but you have the option to clean those you don't want.

On the camera side, the Note 10 Plus generally preserves the line of the S10 + model. The innovations brought by the video are remarkable, but we do not know how much you use it. However, if we consider that this phone is aimed at more productive people, it will certainly be worth it in someone's hands.

If you are going to choose Note 10 Plus, you should first evaluate your needs well. Decide if you really need this phone. If you are constantly walking outside, using your smartphone to review and edit your documents, or dealing with drawing and similar tasks, the Note 10 Plus may be a suitable device for you. Of course, after that, your budget must meet the device that is sold for more than 650USD. If you're more focused on content consumption and entertainment, then you can go for the Galaxy S10 + at a lower cost. What do you think? Have you used the smartphone? Do you recommend it?
