Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro: Dsplay, Price, and Specifications in 2020

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has Quad rear cameras, 20MP ( utrawide with f\2.2), 108MP ( wide with f\1.7), 12MP ( telephoto with f\2.0), and 8MP ( telephoto with f\2.0). On the front, you see a 20MP ultra-wide camera with f\2.0.

The main module of the Mi 10 Pro does not capture its snapshots in 108 MP. It uses the pixel binning technique. This consists of the fusion of 4 pixels into one. This process makes it possible to obtain 4 times larger photosites at night, and thus to capture more light. This gives 27 MP shots to which Xiaomi makes one last modification. In order to limit problems due to the optics and in particular the distortion, the manufacturer slightly reframes its image. So we get shots in 25 MP.

In low light, the Mi 10 Pro reacts slightly differently than the Mi 10. So, instead of smoothing excessively like the latter, it manages to obtain a rather satisfactory compromise.

The Mi 10 Pro's ultra-wide-angle module is still positioned among the good students of our comparison by offering a satisfactory level of detail. The rendering is a bit cold, but nothing too marked. The Mi 10 Pro gives rather clean shots at night. The mobile does very little smoothing and retains a good sharpness in the center of the picture. It is a little less good on the outskirts, however, but nothing surprising for such a mobile.

In low light, Xiaomi has chosen to enormously smooth its shots. We thus obtain completely blurred and not very exploitable zones. And this, despite a white balance rather respected on the whole.

As for the 2x telephoto module of the Mi 10 Pro is not very satisfactory. By day, his shots are very strongly accentuated and give way to slight chromatic aberrations. It remains usable without being very good.

At night, the Mi 10 Pro resumes its unwanted smoothing. The colors disappear at the same time as the very weak dive. It is therefore difficult to recommend this module at night.

The 5x telephoto module is still a little worse than the 2x. We detailed his performance in a dedicated article, but, in short, it is only of little relevance.

The Xiaomi device offers selfies of good quality, and moreover realistic, as long as we take the trouble to remove the different beauty filters. The smartphone is also able to film in 8K at 30 fps thanks to its back module and its Snapdragon 865 chip. The result is quite good, with sufficient fluidity and relevant light management.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro: Dsplay, Price, and Specifications in 2020

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is very similar in many ways to the Mi Note 10, and despite some notable new features like 5G, the chipset, and a better display, it remains to be seen if the new phone deserves to be nearly double the price.

That said, there seem to be a lot of features from the Mi 10 Pro that could show their faces the more we test, as the video shooting modes look promising and the battery optimization software and charge speeds promise to reduce really the burden of regular diet on the phone. What do you think? Have you used either of them? Do you recommend them? Tell us your thoughts.
